Marcus Rashford will start | 4-2-1-3 Manchester United vs Brighton predicted line-up

After a string of dismal performances, Manchester United finally got back to winning ways, beating Newcastle United 3-2. They will now travel to Falmer Stadium to face Brighton on Sunday in what will be their final league game of the ongoing campaign.

Although a win will not mean much in terms of the position in the points table, the Red Devils need it more than ever. A clinical display will lift their spirits to put up a good fight against Manchester City in the FA Cup final, which is just a week away.

Andre Onana had a decent outing against Newcastle United. He will again operate between the sticks and keep a clean sheet. Right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka struggled a bit on Thursday night, but that shouldn’t keep him out of starting this game.

Jonny Evans is likely to continue in central defence. However, it will be interesting to see if Erik ten Hag takes a chance on Lisandro Martinez or not. The Argentine defender has recovered from a long injury and could enter the XI in place of Casemiro. The left back position remains secured for Diogo Dalot for now.

Kobbie Mainoo had an amazing outing in his last game and is a safe choice in midfield. Expect Sofyan Amrabat to pair up with the youngster. Skipper Bruno Fernandes is likely to operate in the middle to contribute in both respects.

It also means Scott McTominay will have to start on the bench.

Amad Diallo received a standing ovation as he walked off for his spectacular performance against the Magpies. No doubt he won another start in the line. Marcus Rashford has recovered and could try in this game.

Rasmus Hojlund should return to the XI as he scored a brilliant goal after coming off the bench.
