Brent crude is trading at $83.54/bbl

Crude oil futures fell 0.02% to Rs 6,614 a barrel on Friday as participants trimmed positions on weak demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for delivery in May fell by Rs 1, or 0.02%, to Rs 6,614 a barrel on a business volume of 6,460 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude traded 0.27% lower at $79.44 a barrel, while Brent crude traded 0.32% lower at $83.54 a barrel in New York .
