Boots selling viral brand Tree Hut for the first time

Boots is hoping shoppers will love a new but viral product it has added to its website for the first time. Tree Hut – Shea Sugar Scrubs will cost shoppers £18 on the Boots website and there are plenty of options to choose from.

The product is designed to nourish and balance the skin’s hydration to help restore the skin’s natural glow. According to Tree Hut, after use the skin is no longer dull and any dry skin has been removed to reveal smooth and glowing skin.



On the Boots website, the product listing for Papaya Paradise states: “Improve your shower routine, cleanse your day and reveal glowing skin with Tree Hut Shea Sugar Body Scrub in the juicy scent of Papaya Paradise! Made with sugar, shea butter, papaya, pineapple enzymes and a range of natural oils including primrose, avocado, macadamia, sweet almond, saffron and orange oils.”

Taking to its Instagram page, Boots shared a reel of the products and shoppers were delighted to finally be able to get their hands on them from Boots. The caption of the post read: “Super soft leather and satisfying texture. Viral brand @treehut just launched online just in time for smooth summer skin. Which one will you try first?”

One commenter said: “Yes! I can’t wait to get my hands on some.”

Another, who had been wanting to try this product for a while, wrote: “Didn’t even want to try this for so long!”

A third commenter said: “Love the sugar scrubs – definitely going to try them. Who is the most popular @bootsuk?”

And a fourth wrote: “These look like a bit of me.”

While many loved the fact that they could now get their hands on the product, many were shocked at the price they would be charged to actually purchase the product. One commenter said: “Why are you charging more than double the price, it’s £7.94!”

A second wrote: “I got excited then but to charge £18 is wild.”

And a third wrote: ‘£18 for a body scrub. Delulu!”


If you’re looking for a body scrub but don’t fancy paying £18, then Superdrug have some brilliant options for shoppers to choose from, including their own. Superdrug Extracts Body Scrub Shea will cost shoppers £5.99 for 465ml and has several other scents to choose from.

The product listing states: “Formulated with shea butter and almond granules to help gently exfoliate dull, dead skin cells, revealing softer, smoother skin after use.”
