Turkey stocks fall at close of trade; The BIST 100 was down 0.13% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Istanbul, it was down 0.13%.

Top performers of the session on the were Turkiye Vakiflar Bankasi TAO (IS: ), which was up 3.10% or 0.70 points to trade at 23.28 at the close. Meanwhile, Mia Teknoloji AS (IS:) added 2.91% or 1.28 points to end at 45.24 and BIM Birlesik Magazalar AS (IS:) was up 2.63% or 15.00 points to 585.00 at the end of transactions.

The worst performers of the session were Turkiye Sinai Kalkinma Bankasi AS (IS: ), which declined 5.21% or 0.65 points to trade at 11.82 at the close. Enerya Enerji AS (IS:) declined 4.82% or 10.40 points to end at 205.50 and Borusan Birlesik Boru Fabrikalari Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS (IS:) declined 4.77% or 24.00 points. , up to 479.00.

Declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 371 to 194, with 14 ending unchanged.

Gold futures for December delivery rose 0.36 percent, or 9.55, to $2,655.75 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodity trading, crude for November delivery fell 0.58%, or 0.41, to $70.59 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 0.46 % or 0.34, to 73.35 dollars per barrel.

USD/TRY rose 0.12% to 34.13, while EUR/TRY fell 0.27% to 38.00.

US dollar index futures rose 0.07% to 100.50.
