Clock! The beautiful Liverpool montage that Jurgen Klopp went viral for filming – Liverpool FC

Earlier in the week, Jurgen Klopp was photographed sitting alone on the Kop and the footage went viral – and it turns out he was filming for Liverpool FC TV.

Klopp attracted attention on Tuesday when he was pictured in an empty Anfield, standing alone on the Kop wearing a red and white club scarf.

It has since emerged that the manager was joined by every member of staff involved at Liverpool for one final photo, with drone footage showing him emerging from the tunnel.

Liverpool have now released the final footage from the day, with Klopp filmed walking onto the pitch to be greeted by the trophies he has won over the past eight-and-a-half years.

“Then that’s goodbye,” recounts Klopp.

“I absolutely love everything about this club. I love everything about the city, I love everything about our fans, I love the team.

“After all the years we’ve had together and all the time we’ve spent together and all the things we’ve accomplished together, the respect has grown, the love has grown.

“I came as a normal guy, I’m still a normal guy, I just don’t live a normal life.

“Not only do I feel at home, but I am at home. I love Anfield. I love Anfield when they rock. We really showed what it can do together.

“It’s hard to say goodbye, but let’s remember the good times. I will, forever.

“I will never forget you all. And I’m gonna miss you like hell. See you.”

The video, superbly produced by LFCTV, is four minutes and 57 seconds long and perfectly sums up not only Klopp’s time at the club, but his impact on the city and its people and the sadness of his farewell.

For most, there will never be another manager like Klopp in their lifetime; a truly generational leader who can be considered among the best to ever represent Liverpool.

He deserves a fitting farewell, with Sunday set to be an unrelenting day of excitement at Anfield.

Credit to Liverpool FC’s media team for creating such an amazing montage in memory of the boss.
