Last of eight bull-eyed bulls escaped from Mall Rodeo recaptured: video

First responders in a Massachusetts town had to exercise some impromptu handling skills when eight bulls escaped from a rodeo held in a mall parking lot on Sunday.

Video posted online captured the moment the bulls escaped from the North Attleboro rodeo. The animals broke through the busy parking lot, knocked over the fence, crashed into a tent, and headed onto busy U.S. Highway 1. They eventually headed into some nearby woods for a short-lived escape.

No one was injured during the escape.

The North Attleboro Fire Department issued a warning: These rodeo bulls weren’t playing. “Members of the community should exercise extreme caution and not approach any bulls,” the agency said after they escaped.

Seven of the eight were contained by late Sunday afternoon, but one of them was still on the loose until he was captured late Monday night, firefighters said.

The Rodeo Festival at Emerald Square Mall has been closed, officials said.

How the bulls escaped is being investigated.
