Columbia stocks fall at close of trade; COLCAP was down 1.03% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors propelled shares lower.

The best performers of the session were Grupo Energia Bogota SA ESP (BVC: ), which rose 2.20% or 55.00 points to trade at 2,550.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC: ) added 2.17% or 400.00 points to end at 18,800.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC: ) was up 2.06% or 420. 00 points, up to 20,800.00 on late trading.

The worst performers of the session were The promise (BVC: ), which decreased 0.65% or 50.00 points to trade at 7,700.00 at the close. Organization Terpel SA (BVC: ) declined 0.58% or 60.00 points to end at 10,240.00 and Banco De Bogota SA (BVC: ) declined 0.22% or 60.00 points to 27,640.00.

Declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Columbia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US C coffee for December delivery rose 0.30% or 0.80 to $268.60. Elsewhere in commodity trading, US cocoa for December delivery rose 1.42% or 111.50 to hit $7,978.50, while December gold futures rose 0.16% or 4.40 to trade at $2,681.40 a troy ounce.

USD/COP rose 0.02% to 4,200.75, while BRL/COP rose 0.80% to 767.38.

US dollar index futures rose 0.48% to 100.64.
