Turkey stocks fall at close of trade; The BIST 100 was down 0.62% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Istanbul, it was down 0.62%.

The best performers of the session on the were Anadolu Efes Biracilik ve Malt Sanayi AS (IS: ), which was up 3.90% or 7.50 points to trade at 199.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Turkiye Sigorta AS (IS: ) added 2.50% or 0.30 points to end at 12.29 and Aksa Enerji Uretim AS (IS: ) was up 2.44% or 0.94 points to trade at 39.54 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Katilimevim Tasarruf Finansman AS (IS: ), which declined 5.89% or 3.30 points to trade at 52.70 at the close. Reeder Teknoloji Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS (IS: ) declined 4.10% or 1.12 points to end at 26.20 and BIM Birlesik Magazalar AS (IS: ) declined 3.93% or 22.00 points to trade at 538.50.

Declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 350 to 204, with 23 ending unchanged.

Gold futures for December delivery rose 0.39%, or 10.40, to $2,695.10 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodity trading, crude for November delivery fell 2.27%, or 1.58, to $68.11 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 1.99% or 1.45, up to $71.45 per barrel.

USD/TRY was up 0.15% at 34.16, while EUR/TRY was up 0.47% at 38.19.

US dollar index futures fell 0.37% to 100.25.
