Have your say if you’re going to the Godiva Festival this year

Godiva has come a long way since its humble beginnings in 1997. Starting as a one-day festival, by 2016 it was attracting nearly 150,000 people to the festival grounds in War Memorial Park.

Memorable headliners included Kasabian, Biffy Clyro, Super Furry Animals, Reverend and the Makers and of course hometown acts like Tom Clarke from Enemy and The Selecter.

And there’s not long to wait until the 2024 event, as it will return from Friday July 5 to Sunday July 7, roughly seven weeks apart.

Tickets are still available – but prices have raised eyebrows in recent years as the council ended its funding of the event due to budget cuts and looked to make it self-funding.

So we want to know – will you be going to the Godiva Festival this year? Have your say in our poll below and don’t forget to tell us why or why not in the comments.
