Samsung fans can grab the Galaxy Buds at a cheaper price thanks to the sale

Samsung’s in-store discounts on its wireless earbuds might seem pretty terrible at the moment, but a new deal from AO will give shoppers £65 off a pair of Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. A well-known rival to Apple’s AirPods range.

The Buds 2 Pro True Wireless can now be bought for £159, a welcome price drop from the usual price of £219. Equipped with active noise cancellation, this high-spec feature allows users to listen smoothly in noisy environments, quite similar to the technology used in rival pairs Google Pixel Buds and Apple AirPods.

Like other Samsung Galaxy pairs, the Buds 2 Pro True Wireless have Bluetooth connectivity (which would be a problem), a five-hour battery life, and a built-in microphone so you can double up on switching between listening to music. and podcasts to make calls.

The cheaper pair is also compatible with any iOS or Android device, which is a huge selling point for those who regularly switch between the two mobile biggies. The only thing eager buyers should note is that there is no known time limit on the deal, so there’s no telling how long the sale will last, we’d guess to be quick.

While the price was the main factor that caught our eye, the pair’s strong reviews are another reason why we suggest you consider buying them, as users say they deliver a “perfect sound”. “I give it five stars, but I have a Samsung phone, so I get all the benefits of these Buds. I’m honestly blown away by the sound quality of these headphones and how well the ANC cancels the sound,” said a recent AO buyer.

The user said the pair is great for commuting as well, though he pointed out that it works best with Samsung, which is worth considering before you buy. As they put it: “We noticed that in the middle of the center line, we could barely hear the loud noise that we normally get on that tube line. For some headphones, it matches the sound quality and noise cancellation of some headphones (which should perform better on paper).

“There are some nice features, such as the sound dropping once it detects that I’m talking to someone, although this doesn’t work well if you’re singing along. Note that if you don’t have a Samsung phone, you don’t get the same thing. sound quality, so maybe I’d recommend looking at other products, but if you have a Samsung, definitely consider buying them.”

Other models we’d recommend looking at to weigh up the different specs include the Google Pixel Buds Pro, AirPods thanks to the Curry’s much cheaper £99 price tag, or an affordable pair of JBL Wave Beam headphones.

While another recent reviewer said: “Very happy with my new Samsung Buds. The sound is amazing and very comfortable, it also stays put even when I’m in the gym.”
