Gold price down Rs 10 to Rs 77,230, silver down Rs 100 to Rs 94,900 | commodities

In Delhi, Bengaluru and Chennai, the price of ten grams of 24 carat gold was Rs 77,380, Rs 77,230 and Rs 77,230 respectively.

In Mumbai, the price of ten grams of 22 carat gold is at par with Kolkata and Hyderabad at Rs 70,790.

In Delhi, Bengaluru and Chennai, the price of ten grams of 22 carat gold was Rs 70,940, Rs 70,790 and Rs 70,790 respectively.

The price of a kilogram of silver in Delhi is in line with the prices in Kolkata and Mumbai at Rs 94,900.

The price of one kilogram of silver in Chennai was Rs 1,00,900.

U.S. gold held steady on Tuesday after falling nearly 1 percent in the previous session as investors awaited upcoming U.S. data for information on potential interest rate cuts this year.

Spot gold was flat at $2,635.89 an ounce as of 0006 GMT. Bullion hit a record high of $2,685.42 on Thursday.

Spot silver rose 0.2% to $31.22 an ounce, platinum gained 0.5% to $980.80 and palladium was flat at $999.32.
