SEC Director Gurbir Grewal is leaving the agency

“We have been incredibly fortunate to have such an accomplished public servant, Gurbir Grewal, come to the SEC to lead the Enforcement Division for the past three years,” SEC Chairman Gary Gensler said in a press release. “Every day, he thought about how best to protect investors and ensure that market participants comply with our time-tested securities laws. He led a Division that acted without fear or favor, following the facts and the law wherever it led.”
