‘Crazy’ scenes as thousands line the streets of Anfield to bid farewell to Klopp

Thousands of loyal Liverpool fans lined the streets around Anfield this afternoon to bid a final farewell to Jurgen Klopp.

Reds of all ages appeared in Klopp tops, with scarves, banners and even cut-out masks of the outgoing LFC boss’ face. In January, the 56-year-old announced he would be leaving at the end of the season.

In his nine years at the club, he won seven trophies – including a sixth European Cup and ended a 30-year wait to win the Premier League.
