Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville added to his tally again last week as the Whites hammered Norwich City 4-0 in the play-off semi-finals.

A trip to Wembley is just seven days away for Leeds, taking on Southampton in a play-off final that rightly sees this season’s third- and fourth-best teams go head-to-head for a chance at promotion .

Both teams came from 0-0 first-leg draws to book their place at Wembley in emphatic style with dominant performances at home, Leeds putting four past Norwich in a thoroughly brilliant outing.

Leeds 4-0 Norwich: Crysencio Summerville shines again

From back to front, Leeds were virtually flawless against the Canaries, pulling things back immediately with a goal through Ilia Gruev in the seventh minute.

Leeds’ attack was too quick and fluid for David Wagner to contain, with Crysencio Summerville once again leading the way.

Fellow Dutchman Joel Piroe made it two before Summerville’s handy work in the box saw him slip the ball to Georgi Rutter for three nil.

After the break, Summerville were set up for a Junior Firpo cut back for 4-0 which put the game to bed and sparked massive celebrations at Elland Road.

Summerville took to Instagram to share some images from his headline performance in the win against Norwich:

Leicester City star Abdul Fatawu and Norwich striker Sydney van Hooijdonk both commented on their reaction to the winger’s display:

Summerville throw Norwich away again

He is the best player in this league and if we want to get promoted he will be the reason why it happened.

Summerville was simply stunning against Norwich – as was everyone else really – and it was so needed from him.

Between March and now, he’s been trying to pull us to the finish line, and we’re one game away from doing so.
