Morrisons announces price change for 400 popular items

Morrisons has slashed the price of more than 400 popular food and household cleaning products and says it is committed to locking in the prices for at least eight weeks.

Prices on frozen cod fillets, fries, mushy peas, red beans, fajita kits and long grain rice are reduced by up to a third. Popular snacks such as cheese rolls, jaffa cakes and cottage cheese are also discounted, along with household staples such as kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets and pet food.

Alongside this latest round of price cuts, Morrisons continues to offer customers deals and promotions on key products. Examples for this week include:

£1 Morrisons Best Jersey Royal Potatoes (450g)

Pringles 2 for £3.

Darren Blackhurt, Chief Customer and Marketing Officer at Morrisons, said: “We know the cost of grocery shopping is as important as ever to our customers and we remain committed to reducing prices without compromising on quality. Today’s price reductions include ingredients for popular meals as well as household staples, which will help customers spread their budgets as they start to think about the busy summer months ahead.”

More than 400 products are on sale in Morrisons supermarkets and most of the discounted products are available online.
