Restaurant staff open new location after turning away customers

The restaurant staff was turning customers away, so they decided to open another place.

The new Royal Himalaya restaurant on Southport’s Eastbank Street, will begin serving “the best of Nepalese and street food” from Friday 24 May. It is the sister location of the Great Himalaya restaurant, which has won numerous awards since its opening. Lord Street in March 2020.

“Our new restaurant will be similar in style to Grand Himalaya, but with the addition of new street food and new dishes for diners to try. Great Himalaya has become extremely popular since we opened.

“We have a lot of regular customers, but we are extremely busy, especially at weekends, and sometimes we have to turn people away. Having two locations will give us the ability to accommodate more diners.

“We will have over 100 covers in our new restaurant as well as space for people to sit and enjoy a drink outside. There are a lot of great restaurants along Lord Street, but not many on Eastbank Street, so we were very interested in this opportunity. became available.
