Prince Harry called him a ‘laughter’ for an act on the Nigeria trip that ‘belittles him even more’

Prince Harry’s latest move during his recent trip to Nigeria with wife Meghan Markle has left him labeled a “laughter” by an outspoken commentator. The criticism relates to the pair’s appearance at the Invictus Games promotion, where they are believed to have acted and been treated like active royals.

The couple infamously stepped down from their royal duties in 2020, leading to the removal of several of Harry’s titles. Royal commentator Maureen Callahan openly criticized the Duke for “standing at attention” during the national anthem and appearing to examine soldiers at Nigeria’s Defense Headquarters in Abuja.

During her chat with GB News, Maureen said: “It’s so laughable and it further diminishes Harry in the eyes of the royal family and the world. He stands at attention, as if retaining his military honors and titles. As if it was’ I didn’t undress them when he left.’

She insinuated that Harry and Meghan’s behavior reflected that they were still pretending to hold royal status. That struck him as odd given their consistent narrative over the last four to five years about how imposing it was to be the Royals.

In a lighter revelation during the trip, Meghan shared a funny story about her daughter Princess Lilibet, prompting giggles among royal enthusiasts. While speaking to students at Lightway Academy, she said. “Our daughter Lili is much, much smaller than you guys. She is about to turn three. And a few weeks ago he looked at me and saw the reflection in my eyes. And she (says) “Mom, I see Me in you.”

She continued, “Oh, now he was really talking. But I clung to those words in a very different way. And I thought, yes, I see myself in you and you see me in you.” Meghan ended her speech by declaring: “As I look into this room, I see myself in all of you.”

Maureen Callahan, questioning her veracity because of young Lilibet’s age, retorted: “Meghan Markle tells this story with a straight face.” She also said: “What’s the point of this trip? She spent the whole time talking about herself. It’s laughable.”
