In terms of academic achievement, the report highlighted the “Million Dreams” curriculum, designed to be “relevant and ambitious” for all students. Inspectors noted that the curriculum is “broken down into digestible chunks” to support learning and that students regularly revisit concepts to build knowledge over time.

However, the report also identified some areas for improvement. The inspectors noted that “in a few subjects, the school did not accurately outline what pupils needed to know”. In addition, the way the school assesses what students remember needs further refinement. These improvements would help ensure that any misconceptions or gaps in knowledge are identified and addressed.

The report praised the school’s support for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Inspectors found that staff “quickly identify when pupils are SENDING” and provide the necessary adaptations without compromising the core curriculum. The report highlighted the school’s inclusion, stating that “pupils with SEND progress successfully and participate fully in the life of the school”.
