Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville has become a key transfer target for both Liverpool and Chelsea this summer as they aim to claim promotion at Wembley.

Leeds’ season comes down to this final week as preparations continue for a trip to Wembley on Sunday to face Southampton for a chance to return to the Premier League.

If Leeds are to return to the top flight, their success can be largely attributed to the brilliance of Crysencio Summerville this season.

Crysencio Summerville wanted by Chelsea and Liverpool – Fabrizio Romano

Fabrizio Romano has shared a key update on Summerville’s future at Elland Road, with Premier League transfer interest inevitable for the winger.

Namely, he reveals in the Daily Briefing that top-flight giants Liverpool and Chelsea will be looking to sign Summerville.

Romano wrote:

“Staying with Chelsea, they are one of the names being linked with Leeds United’s talented young winger Crysencio Summerville. The race is open, but with nothing close or imminent at this point.

There are indeed many clubs chasing him – we already reported on Liverpool last month and Summerville will certainly have a top-flight chance at the club in the summer, but again, nothing is close now.”

Playoff Final: Leeds United v Southampton predictions

Summerville will be a PL player no matter what happens in the playoff final

We have our chance to be in the Premier League next season when we face Southampton, but Summerville will go into the top flight either way.

He is too good to keep as a Championship club so we need to be promoted to make sure we can keep his services.

While Romano suggests an offer will come no matter what this summer, we will be able to keep him if we are promoted.
