The subjects taught at Coventry University are considered two of the ‘best’ in the UK

Coventry University has risen to the top of a prestigious ranking of the world’s young universities. Ranking the world’s best universities aged 50 or under, the Times Higher Education Young University Ranking is based on 18 performance indicators grouped into five areas: Teaching, Research Environment, Research Quality, International Outlook and Industry.

Coventry University Group was ranked 165th, with an overall score of 44.3. International Outlook was the best performing category with a score of 95.6, followed by Research Quality with 73. International Outlook is described in the methodology as “a university’s ability to attract students, graduates and faculty from around the planet” who is the key to his success on the world stage.




Professor John Latham CBE, Vice-Chancellor of Coventry University and Chief Executive of Coventry University Group, said: “We are delighted to be recognized for the significant improvements that have been made and all that we have achieved over the past year.

Last week (14 May), two subjects taught by Coventry University Group were ranked in the top 10 of all UK institutions in the Complete University Guide 2025. Health Studies rose one place to sixth and Paramedic Science also moved up one place to 10th.
