New Look’s ‘very flattering’ summer dress that ‘fits in’

New Look shoppers are heaping praise on a ‘beautiful’ midi dress which they say looks ‘very flattering’. With the arrival of warmer weather, many shoppers will be swapping items in their wardrobe for lighter clothes.

The retailer is selling the Pale Blue Square Neck Midi Dress, which is priced at £33.99. Also available in black, navy, off white, rust and khaki.

The pale blue dress features a square neckline, short puff sleeves, a ruched bodice and a midi length. The full product description reads: “With puff sleeves and a ruched bodice, this pale blue midi dress is a wardrobe winner for warm weather days. Dress up in heeled sandals or mules and hit the road.”

The dress has a 4/5 star rating with a number of positive reviews online. Among them, one person said: “Really comfortable and flattering. Loved the navy as it looks nice for summer.”

A second wrote: “I love this dress with the square neck and stretchy body and it just fits. I also love the short puffy sleeves, they fit perfectly, lovely.”

A third buyer added: “Love this! Fabulous fit and very flattering.” Another said: “Lovely comfortable dress – great fit.”

However, not all shoppers were so impressed with the dress. One person wrote: “Good material and not too thick, the seam just didn’t sit right on my figure.”

Another said: “This is a cute dress and a nice color, but it was too long for me (I’m 5’3″). I felt confused about it, so I returned it.”
