Morrisons’ new food product ‘looks like the umbilical cord’, say shoppers

Morrisons shoppers have been left unimpressed by one of the supermarket’s latest additions to the Pizza Counter. The store has introduced a new collection of nachos loaded with a variety of toppings.

Photos of the new food products were shared on the popular Instagram account, @Newfoodsuk – including Morrisons new loaded nachos. Hunters Chicken Nachos, Spicy Beef Nachos and Large Extra Cheesy Nachos were all photographed.

Prices range from £2.50 to £3.50. Newfoodsuk captioned the post: “New Nacho boxes found at @morrisons pizza counter.”

In the comments section, Morrisons’ official Instagram account replied: “Run, don’t walk. What will you try first?” However, many buyers were left divided by the new additions.

In a harsh comparison, Minkyderosa stated, “Bacon looks like a preserved umbilical cord.” Dancarpenter1986 said: “That hunter cub looks grim.”

Spoonietreasures wrote: “Yes but no bacon eww!!!” Stuakbafc asked, “Do you cook them yourself? It looks awful.”

Meanwhile, Rachelmeady claimed: ‘They’re wet when you get them home. Just make it your own.”

But not everyone agreed, as many foodies said they couldn’t wait to try the new nachos. 4timeshelve_xo said: “I need firsts.”

Thefun_foodie wrote: “Big cheese please.” Paved_with_stars said: “Have had them in my Morrisons for about 2 months. I don’t understand all the hate, especially since I doubt most have even seen them, let alone tried them.”

Morrisons declined a request for comment.
