Estelle Keith Obituary – Yorktown, VA (1922-2017)

YORKTOWN – Estelle O. Keith, 95, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 7, 2017. She was born in Waverly, Virginia and was a longtime resident of the Peninsula and a member of Deer Park Baptist Church. He served his country working as a riveter in the Newport News Shipyard during World War II. She later worked as a switchboard operator at Riverside Hospital. Estelle was preceded in rest by her parents, Iris A. and Gladys Drewry O’Neal; sisters, Pauline Forrest and Barbara O’Neal. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis K. Fritschi (Adam) of Newport News; niece, Wanda F. Carter (Carlton) of Roanoke; nephew, Gary Forrest (Martha) of Newport News and cousin Cathi LeSueur (Thom) of Wakefield. A celebration of Estella’s life will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, August 10, 2017, at the funeral home. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Peninsula SPCA 523 J Clyde Morris Blvd, Newport News, VA 23601.
