Storms have hit south-east Cornwall amid warnings from the Met Office

They said: “Parts of East Cornwall are now being hit by torrential rain, hail, flooding, thunder and lightning. Roads become waterlogged and flooded. Slowing down on approach and stopping if conditions get too bad as flood water splashes over the windshield. Please also note that these conditions can also produce funnel clouds, even straight line winds are possible. These are small cells that get bigger.”
