Alisson Becker has been shortlisted for the Premier League’s Save of the Season award

The Liverpool goalkeeper was nominated for his stunning save to deny Miguel Almiron during his side’s 2-1 win over Newcastle United at St. James’ Park in August.

The Reds were 1-0 down and saw captain Virgil van Dijk sent off when Alisson somehow managed to prevent Almiron from putting Newcastle ahead.

Darwin Nunez would later come off the bench to score two late goals and pull off an incredible 2-1 victory.
