Three Royal Enfield launches lined up in the coming months

– The Guerrilla 450 will be released in a few weeks

-Classic 350 Bobber also near production

-Classic 650 may be presented towards the end of 2024

Royal Enfield is gearing up to launch three new motorcycles over the coming months. With half a year already gone and the company riding on the success of the new Himalayan 450, there is still a lot to look forward to from the manufacturer.

1. Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450

Starting with a bike that is based on the Himalayan 450, the Guerrilla 450 is Royal Enfield’s new roadster. The bike has been seen testing for months and its launch is expected in a few months.

The Guerrilla 450 shares much of its frame and engine with the Himalayan 450. The 452cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine churns out 39.47PS at 8,000rpm and 40Nm at 5,500rpm in the Himalayan. Royal Enfield can modify the tune of this engine and possibly the gearing to suit the bike’s application as a street bike.

It will feature a simple design language. You get a round LED headlight, the teardrop fuel tank or the small tail section that looks identical to the Himalayan.

However, unlike the Himalayan 450, the Guerrilla 450 does not get a USD fork and settles for the conventional telescopic fork as seen in one of the spy photos from earlier this month. At the rear, there’s a preload-adjustable monoshock.

Royal Enfield is expected to position the Guerrilla 450 around Rs 2.3 lakh to Rs 2.5 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.

2. Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber

The Classic 350 Bobber is based on the very popular Classic 350. As the same suggests, the Classic 350 Bobber is the ‘Bobber’ version of the Classic 350. So you get a one-piece seat, monkey-hanger style handlebars and rubber tires white walls for that period correct appearance. Expect the Royal Enfield to come with retro color options including cream and light green tones.

Royal Enfield recently patented the bike and also showed the Classic 350 Bobber with a passenger seat. This will likely be an option, as is the case with the 650 Shotgun.

The Classic 350 Bobber’s engine is the same 349cc J-series engine that powers the current range – Classic 350, Bullet 350, Hunter 350 and Meteor 350. The unit produces 20.2bhp with 27Nm and is mated to a gearbox with five steps.

The Classic 350 Bobber will be positioned above the Classic 350 and will be priced around Rs 2.3 lakh.

3. Royal Enfield Classic 650

The Classic 650 is expected to be one of the big launches from Royal Enfield and could be showcased at the company’s annual festival Motoverse in Goa later this year. The Classic 650 will be the fifth bike on the company’s 650 platform. The other bikes are Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, Shotgun 650 and Super Meteor 650.

The Classic 650 has also been spotted testing several times in the past. A look at the spy shots reveals the design of the bike which is very similar to the Classic 350. Everything from the shape of the fuel tank, the curved fenders and the stance of the bike gives it a very modern-retro look.

It will use the same 648cc parallel twin engine as the rest of the bikes in the 650 portfolio. This engine produces 47PS and 52Nm and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. It’s a gem of an engine and we love it for the refinement, performance and sound from the dual exhaust. Expect the Classic 650’s engine to continue in the same vein.

Royal Enfield is likely to position the Classic 650 between the Interceptor and Continental GT and its asking price could be around Rs. 3.25 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
