Harlech Beach, overlooking Harlech Castle and the mountains of Snowdonia, has been described as a ‘paradise of natural beauty’. The beach is easily accessible from a nearby parking lot via a small path. It takes approximately two hours and 20 minutes to drive from Liverpool.

It’s not just the flat sands that attract visitors, but also the dunes that have earned the area the status of a National Nature Reserve and a Site of Special Scientific Interest.

It is also renowned for being one of the cleanest beaches in Snowdonia. Facilities near the beach include a shop, cafe and Royal St David’s Golf Club, one of the best courses in the UK.
