Salford Red Devils sign Harvey Wilson from Wigan Warriors

Salford Red Devils have said they are “delighted” to sign Harvey Wilson from Wigan Warriors.

The 20-year-old will move to Salford Community Stadium for the remainder of this season and into the 2025 campaign.

Head coach Paul said the young forward will be a “great addition” to the squad and is “delighted” to welcome Wilson to the fold.

Salford Red Devils Director of Rugby Operations Ian Blease also commented: “I would like to welcome Harvey and his family to Salford Red Devils.

“Harvey will now have the opportunity to establish himself in our squad and strengthen our forward pack for the remainder of this season and next.

“Harvey is enjoying his growing reputation in the game and I’m really excited to see him take advantage of this opportunity.”

Wilson signed for Wigan in 2020 as part of the Warriors scholarship program and has been on loan with Championship side Bradford Bulls. He will now join head coach Paul Rowley’s squad immediately.

Wilson commented: “I am looking forward to joining Salford.

“I can’t wait to get into it and take any opportunity to help the club. I can’t wait to play with the boys and in front of the fans.”
