Man taken to hospital following incident in Croydon

A man has been taken to hospital following an incident in Croydon early this morning.

Emergency services were called to the junction of Addiscombe Road and Sandilands at around 7.29am today (May 23).

Paramedics treated a man before taking him to hospital.

His condition is currently unknown.

A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at 7.29am on Thursday 23 May to reports of an incident at the junction of Addiscombe Road and Sandilands in Croydon.

“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene and it arrived within six minutes.

“Our crews treated a man at the scene before taking him to hospital for treatment.”

We have contacted the Metropolitan Police for more information.
