The Movie Geek Live show of Stories is back | Birmingham, June 19

Tickets are now on sale for the return of our Movie Geek Live show with Simon Brew in Birmingham this June.

While I was juggling a lot of other projects, the Film Stories live shows had to take a back seat for a little while. But we’re delighted to announce that they’re back, with our Movie Geek Live show returning to its birthplace at the Midlands Arts Center in Birmingham.

It’s a 90-minute show for film geeks, with me (Simon Brew) talking about films, interviewing filmmaker guests live and in person, and also giving out some of the best/worst awards of all time. These shows have been running since 2019 now, and this is celebrating 50 issues of Film Stories magazine. Anyone who comes and buys a ticket will also receive a free copy of the magazine that night.

The show takes place on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, starting at 7:30 p.m.

It’s also at the Midlands Arts Center in Birmingham, and the good people there also run the box office. If you want to come – and please say hello at the end if you do! – then tickets are available right here.
