Free lasagna is offered to mark the release of the new film

Frankie & Benny’s is giving away 2,000 free lasagna dishes to celebrate the release of the animated film The Garfield. The first 2,000 guests to pre-book at Frankie & Benny’s via their website between 24-31 May and dine between 1-30 June will receive a one-time use voucher code to redeem a portion of lasagna classic beef, which usually costs £13.45.

Alexandra Gaunt, Frankie & Benny’s head of marketing, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Sony to bring the world’s best-loved orange cat, Garfield, from the big screen to our restaurants. What better way to celebrate the film’s release on May 24 than to give away 2,000 free lasagnas to our guests.”

The voucher can be redeemed from Monday to Sunday. This offer may not be valid in event restaurants on event days and will be processed at the manager’s discretion. Frankie & Benny’s has become the official UK restaurant partner for the film and has unveiled a range of new Garfield-inspired treats, celebrity launches and special diner events.

The three-month collaboration includes a special limited-time lasagna menu for kids, Garfield-inspired activity sheets, Garfield-themed decorations, goody bags, posters, limited-edition T-shirts and a chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime trip to New York.
