The world’s biggest wig owner looks completely different after ditching the Barnet giants

A woman with the world’s widest wig has stunned her followers by revealing what she looks like without a hat.

Helen Williams is the proud owner and designer of an 11ft 11in wig, which earned her a Guinness World Record. The 31-year-old previously won a title for making the longest handmade wig and has done it again by creating the widest.

Helen said: “As a professional wig maker I look forward to breaking many more records in the wig category. I enjoy taking on difficult tasks, it makes me a better person and I learn new things.

“I want my children and great-grandchildren to grow up and see the widest wig. The wig is now part of history”.

This lavish wig, adorned with over 1,000 rhinestones and made with 800 hair bundles, wowed fans when Helen donned the piece. However, the snaps posted on Instagram showed what Helen looks like without the impressive barnet.

Responding to the image, one stunned follower declared: “Woah, when did this happen?” Another expressed: “OMG this is hugeeeee.”

Helen is not the only person to receive a world record recently.

Diana Armstrong lives with “the longest nails in the world”, which she has been growing for 27 years. Diana hasn’t cut her stunning 45-foot nails since 1997 and insists her daily routine isn’t much different to anyone else’s, the Daily Star previously reported.

Many people were curious to know how Diana went to the bathroom with her long claws. She revealed: “Well, you know, when I go to the bathroom, it’s going to be just like anybody else going to the bathroom, except I’m working on my nails, probably in a different way, they would work on theirs.”
