St Werburghs City Farm Summer Fair is back

St Werbughs City Farm will welcome visitors back to its annual summer fair. Known as “the biggest event of the year”, City Farm’s summer fair brings thousands of visitors to the local area to enjoy food, live music, entertainment and the surrounding green spaces.

The fair itself acts as a key fundraiser to raise vital funds that help keep the farm open all year round as a free community resource. This year it will start on Saturday 8th June at 12pm and finish at 7.30pm with an evening after party at The Farm Pub.

Standard tickets cost £15, teenagers (aged 13-18) £5 each and children under 12 go free. There is the option to buy a ‘supporter’ ticket for £20, which allows you to ‘pay it forward’ so others can attend, while a ‘community ticket’ is subsidized at £8 pounds for anyone who needs it. You can buy your tickets through this link.

Organizers promise it will be a day “full of fun, sun and dancing”. They ask attendees to bring cash if they can, as card payments are limited, adding that no cars or dogs (except guide dogs) should be brought to the farm. Acts in this year’s line-up include:

  • CRAZY
  • She the Choir
  • Ten Pence Moon
  • Billy Rowan, aka The Undercover Hippie
  • Cosmic Ninja
  • Bristol Samba
  • Saffron
  • Yasmine Kabbara-Dolby
  • Finn and Ben

Count Skylarkin is set to perform at the Farm Pub After Party. To learn more about this year’s Summer Fair, contact someone about your accessibility needs, or sign up to volunteer, click here.
