Aldi’s Apothecary candle range £3.50 ‘just like’ Marks and Spencer

Aldi recently launched an interesting selection of candles and speakers in its SpecialBuys section. Its Apothecary collection, now in stores, offers a cheap alternative to high-end brands such as Marks and Spencer.

The new range means shoppers could save over 79% compared to Marks and Spencer. The latest candles and speakers are priced at £3.49 each, allowing shoppers to enjoy significant savings.

A spokesperson for Aldi said candle enthusiasts will be delighted with the new seasonal range. “Candle lovers are in luck as these scented buys are part of a new seasonal range, giving fans the chance to stock up on their favorite scents all summer long,” they added.

According to Aldi, the new collection is inspired by ingredients found in nature. Its Apothecary collection offers three distinct fragrances called Relax, Unwind and Revive.

• Relax – bergamot, lavender and patchouli – citrus, floral and earthy notes unite this fragrance, creating a harmonious scent to ease long days.
• Relax – cloves, amber and sandalwood – the rich and comforting notes create the perfect comforting scent.
• revive – rose, geranium and lavender – a refreshing and sweet bouquet of aromas to light up homes for the warmer months.

Marks and Spencer is selling its Calm Boxed scented candle for £10 and the Calm diffuser for £17. However, choosing the Aldi Relax Candle and Diffuser could result in savings of around £20.

It comes as Julie Ashfield, Aldi’s managing director of buying, explained how people can get the best of the store’s Specialbuy range. She says new items hit the shelves every Thursday and Sunday.

They include a variety of home goods, children’s toys and beauty essentials, all at affordable prices. These are limited edition deals, though, and once they’re gone, they’re gone.
