Woman sexually assaulted in Bradford McDonald’s toilets as police launch appeal

A woman was sexually assaulted in a McDonald’s in Bradford as police launch an appeal.

In connection with the sexual assault, West Yorkshire Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to. Officers from Bradford District Safeguarding Unit are now looking to speak to anyone who can identify the man or anyone who has information about the incident which took place in the McDonald’s on Igleby Road on Thursday, May 23.



This happened around 5pm after a man approached the victim as she was entering a cubicle in the ladies’ toilets.

Investigations are ongoing and police are supporting the victim.

Police said: “Police have issued an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with a sexual assault in Bradford.

“Officers from Bradford District Safeguarding Unit would like to speak to anyone who can identify the man or has information about the crime which took place at a McDonalds branch on Ingleby Road on Thursday (May 23).

“It happened around 5pm after a male suspect approached the victim as she was entering a toilet cubicle in the ladies’ toilets.

“A number of inquiries into the offense were ongoing by detectives who supported the victim.”
