Uncertainty looms over Nicki Minaj’s Manchester Co-op Live show amid travel and security hurdles | Birmingham Live

Nicki Minaj has posted about problems getting to the UK ahead of a concert in Manchester – just 24 hours before she arrives in Birmingham. The American rapper performs at the Resorts World Arena on May 26 – but is having trouble getting into the UK.

Her Coop Live performance tonight is shrouded in uncertainty after the rapper shared a series of worrying tweets. The ‘Super Bass’ singer, who is set to perform at the Manchester arena, has posted about her travel woes in Amsterdam, claiming her luggage was confiscated by airport security allegedly to ‘sabotage my tour’.




In a tweet, Nicki revealed her bags were taken without her permission and hinted at a potential delay for her Manchester show, saying: “now they said they found weed and another group of pp have to come here to weigh the pre-rolls. “. She expressed her frustration, noting that her plane was scheduled to leave two hours earlier.

At 3pm, she tweeted her concern: “Trying to keep me from MANCHESTER.”

Footage tracked of an airport official apparently requesting a baggage inspection.

Nicki then updated fans before 4pm with: ‘It’s a 45 minute to an hour flight. So he’s probably trying to stay for about 4 hours,” reports the Manchester Evening News.

She also mentioned, “Now they said I have to leave in 5 minutes to make a statement about my security at the police station.”
