Police investigate pedestrian crash in Croydon – Delaware Valley News

Bristol Township Police were called to Route 13 and Newportville Road to investigate a hit and run yesterday around 4:30 p.m.

Police said the car was traveling on Route 13 when the pedestrian, a 38-year-old man, crossed the street from Newportville Road toward the train station. The car, a 2008 Toyota, came to a controlled stop on a curb, northbound on Route 13.

The car’s windshield was smashed and the car sustained severe damage to the front hood. The pedestrian was listed in serious condition. The police are trying to determine the cause of the accident. Roads around the area were closed for several hours.
