Full weather forecast as Greater Manchester will be warmer than Barcelona today

Greater Manchester is set to be hotter than Barcelona today as temperatures soar to 23C.

MET forecasters are predicting that Saturday will be a dry and sunny day in our region, with a few intervals of cloud. It will feel hot this afternoon as the mercury climbs to 23C, making it warmer than the 20C expected in the Spanish city.

The sunniest weather is expected late this afternoon and into the early evening. Forecasters are predicting that Sunday will be another hot and sunny day, with temperatures warmer than 23 degrees Celsius.

No intervals of cloud are forecast for Sunday, so it should be sunny and bright all day. Although the heat is set to increase over the coming days, the Met Office says it is not quite at the level of a heatwave.

In our corner of the country, that would mean three consecutive days at 25C for this time of year. On the general outlook for the North West from Monday to Wednesday, the Met Office said: “A mix of cloud and warm sunny spells during this period.

“Low cloud is possible in the morning with a chance of isolated showers, particularly through Tuesday. Cloudier on Wednesday.”
