Man arrested at Gatwick accused of murdering Rijkaard Siafa – South London News

A second man was charged with murder Rijkaard Siafa, who was stabbed to death in Croydon last month.

Rammon Mali, 32, of Valley Road, Kenley, was arrested at Gatwick Airport on Sunday after returning to the UK from Senegal.

He was charged with murder on Monday and is due to appear at the Old Bailey today.

A 51-year-old woman was also arrested on Monday on suspicion of perverting the course of justice. She was released on bail to return for a date at the end of July.

The investigation was launched after Rijkaard, who is from Croydonwas stabbed to death in Fellmongers Yard at around 6pm on 12 April.

Police were called to the scene, where a number of members of the public tried to provide first aid before crews from the London Ambulance Service and the London Air Ambulance arrived.

Despite their best efforts, Rijkaard died at the scene. A post-mortem examination determined the cause of death to be multiple stab wounds.

David Walcott, 34, of Turle Road, Norbury, was charged with Rijkaard’s murder on April 20. He is also due to appear at the Old Bailey today.
