The Reds’ fanbase is renowned for its passion and loyalty, cheering on both Jürgen Klopp’s and Matt Beard’s teams, either on Merseyside or watching from afar.

Our We love you Liverpool The feature aims to bring supporters closer together to learn more about each other, wherever they are across the globe.

Whether in Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland, in Merseyside itself, in North or South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia or elsewhere, the fans provide the very foundations on which the club is built.

Tell us about OLSC…

Our subsidiary OLSC Germany – or the German Reds – was founded on 16 May 2001, the day Liverpool won a spectacular UEFA Cup final against CD Alaves.

We currently have 430 members in our branch. Our members are located all over Germany, from north to south and from east to west. Therefore, we have an annual meeting and party every year for all members who would like to meet.

How special is it to have the supporters club where you are?

The annual meeting is definitely our highlight. Sometimes we managed to invite former players to our meetings, for example Didi Hamann or Jan Molby. There is always live music and lots of fun and good food. It is nice to be able to meet many members from different regions of Germany.

In addition, some members occasionally watch Liverpool matches in the region where they live, in Berlin, Hamburg or Munich, etc.

Organizing special events?

We hold a raffle twice a year, once at our annual meeting and once before Christmas. We donate the proceeds to the LFC Foundation, the JC23 Foundation and food banks. It is important for us not only to celebrate Liverpool FC’s victories together, but also to support those who are not doing so well economically. We know that our donations are in good hands with the mentioned foundations, because they do very good and important work.

What is your favorite memory together as OLSC?

We’re always delighted when we get the chance to get tickets to Anfield matches, as you can imagine. These lucky members always enjoy the game as a group and have fun around the Liverpool game – we love Liverpool and Scousers of course.
