Spice Girls star Emma Bunton is ‘devastated’ after learning her beloved pet labrador Phoebe has been found dead.

The singer, who currently works as a presenter on Heart Radio, had campaigned on Twitter for nearby fans to help in the search after the dog went missing on a daily walk on Sunday (February 4).

Emma wrote today: “All the wonderful people who have supported us through this horrible time Our precious phoebe has been found and her terrible news we are devastated”

Fans flocked to her page to offer their sympathies.

Myleene Klass, Tulisa and Melanie C helped spread awareness and rally support in the hunt for Phoebe, with the story even reaching across the pond to be covered by Perez Hilton.

She had written: “My beautiful brown labrador has gone missing on her daily walk she will be so scared please look around east barnet, hadley forest, trent park (sic)

“Her name is Phoebe! She’s so sweet, please take care of her… I’m in pieces, thanks for all your reassuring messages! Please keep looking.”

Earlier today (February 6) she offered a reward to anyone who found her.
