Two women found shot in vehicle, one dead in Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM — Two women were found in a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds in Birmingham, according to BPD Officer Truman Fitzgerald.

Both women were taken to hospital by Birmingham Fire and Rescue, where one of the victims was pronounced dead. The second victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Fitzgerald said around 4:30 a.m. Sunday a call came in of a person shot at 10th Street West and Graymont Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found two female adults in a vehicle off the roadway suffering from gunshot wounds.

Fitzgerald said there are no suspects in custody at this time.
