A Tidworth landlord has been found guilty of sexually assaulting prospective tenants.

Frederick Allard, who is 73 and of Nepaul Road, sexually assaulted women and offered reduced rent in exchange for sexual favors.

He will be sentenced at Winchester Crown Court on June 21.

Complex Crime Investigator Elly Moxom, from Wiltshire Police, said: “The victims in this case contacted Wiltshire Police following meetings with Tidworth landlord Frederick Allard.

“After inquiring about rooms to let at Mr Allard’s property, they were subjected to sexual assault and grossly inappropriate and offensive behavior from him, including requests to perform sexual acts in exchange for a reduced rate of rent.

“Allard’s actions had a significant impact on the female victims, who showed courage and resilience throughout the investigation and trial.”

The crimes took place between February 2019 and January 2023.

Elly Moxom added: “Wiltshire Police want to send a strong message to those who harm women and girls.

“We will show zero tolerance for crimes such as those committed by Mr Allard, who sought to exploit the perceived vulnerabilities of his victims for sexual gratification.”
