Aldi ditches chocolate product as fans say ‘I loved them’

Chocolate lovers are devastated after one of their favorites was discontinued by Aldi. The bargain supermarket giant said it was ditching the coconut flavor of Dairyfine Spirals as part of a regular review – but much to the dismay of its legion of fans.

Aldi have officially confirmed that they will no longer be stocking the flavor – although other Spirals will be on offer. An Aldi spokesman commented: “We continually review our product range to ensure we meet the needs of Aldi shoppers.”

At the beginning of the year, customers expressed concern about the possible disappearance of the coconut bar from store shelves. In the Aldi UK Shoppers Facebook group, Dani Norris posted: “Hey guys, does anyone know if Aldi still sell the coconut spirals? Does anyone know of anything similar if not?”

Answering the question, Lucy Kate said: “Haven’t seen them in a while, love these! I think they are extremely popular.”

Tracy Rayner also stepped in to inform fellow Aldi enthusiasts that the product was out of stock, leading to a frustrated response from the community.

Despite removing the coconut variety, Aldi continues to offer the chocolate and hazelnut versions of Spirals.
