Brent Rooker out of Sunday’s lineup – MLB News

4 hours agoOakland Athletics outfielder Brent Rooker is not in the starting lineup for Sunday’s game against the Houston Astros. It appears to be a regular day off for the 29-year-old. Rooker has enjoyed a nice season so far for the Athletics, as evidenced by his .286/.368/.565 slash line. He also tallied 11 home runs, 34 RBI, 23 runs scored and two stolen bases in 41 games. Kyle McCann will step into the lineup in Rooker’s absence and bat seventh against Astros right-hander Ronel Blanco.
