Leeds boss Farke refuses to commit next season

Leeds boss Daniel Farke has been tight-lipped about his future following the promotion play-off final defeat to Southampton.

There were doubts that Farke would stay if he missed out on promotion.

He said afterwards: “It’s not the day to give optimistic messages or what the situation will be in the summer. After a final you have to let yourself down and then what will happen in the summer. I trust our key people.

“It’s the wrong time to be giving messages like this about going again.

“Always difficult when you don’t know at the end of May what league you’re in. Always complicated, but in the background we prepared a lot. Lots of work to do in the coming weeks. We are prepared for scenarios. We have clarity now, sure it will take a while, not everything is completely ready for pre-season, but for the start of the season.
