Sheffield Wednesday set transfer window criteria, available wages

The Owls received a massive boost by convincing boss Danny Rohl to stay and the German penned a new contract.

However, while supreme Dejphon Chansiri is set to back Rohl this summer, he will focus his efforts on wages rather than transfer fees.

The club are looking to bring in players on free transfers or make loan signings throughout the transfer window.

Rohl will have to deal with trying to strengthen his team while maintaining the Owls’ strategy.

With the wages made available, Wednesday will hope they can get quality loans to help their cause.

Out-of-contract players will also be on the radar to tempt Hillsborough with a decent wage package.

Rohl pulled off something of a miracle last season by keeping Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship and is keen to build on that success next season.
