Manchester United are not planning to make an imminent verdict on Erik ten Hag’s future.

Club sources reiterated that United are reviewing their season but do not expect a result imminent.




United have told representatives of potential replacements they are considering keeping Ten Hag after he led the club to their 13th FA Cup triumph against Manchester City on Saturday.

Ten Hag, 52, is under contract at United until next year, with the club having the option of an additional year.

United have been evaluating a number of possible successors and have been in dialogue with intermediaries in recent weeks.

Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna has withdrawn as a candidate to take over at Chelsea as his preferred destination is said to be United.
