Ephron Mason-Clark admits Mark Robins in his first words upon arrival in the city of Coventry

New Coventry City winger Ephron Mason-Clark has said joining the club from Peterborough United was a “very easy decision”.

Mason-Clark completed a move to the Sky Blues in January but remained on loan at the Posh, where he won the EFL trophy but endured heartbreak in the League One play-offs.

The winger is now preparing for life in the Championship with Mark Robins’ side and will be hoping to lead them to a return to the Premier League.

In his first interview with the club since arriving from Posh, the former Barnet ace says the move to Coventry was a no-brainer after speaking to boss Mark Robins.

“For me it was a very easy decision,” he said. “Talking to the manager, it was something I wanted to be a part of. Seeing the team play is something I wanted to join and take my game to the next level.”

Mason-Clark will now enjoy a break before returning for pre-season and added: “I’m looking forward to impressing and working hard for the team and not just the fans but my team-mates and personally. I can’t wait to start.”
