Prime Minister Rishi Sunak visits Hinckley during the general election campaign

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak visited Leicestershire today as part of his general election campaign. Political parties of all colors are preparing for the general elections on Thursday, July 4, with top personalities touring the country.

Mr. Sunak announced the long-awaited election date last week. In a speech on Wednesday, May 22, he said he had spoken to King Charles to ask for Parliament to be dissolved. Election Day was set for six weeks later.




Today, day six of the campaign for your vote, the Prime Minister went to Staffordshire to meet factory workers and then headed to Leicestershire. He was in Hinckley at the offices of Bosworth MP Luke Evans at lunchtime.
